_malvasia wine museum

Set in a historic farmyard in Sitges, this project involved the technical design and production of a comprehensive exhibition space. The challenge was to create a modular system that guides visitors through the heritage of Malvasia wine, appealing to all five senses through integrated physical and multimedia displays.

The exhibition is built on a versatile system of painted steel profiles, engineered to adapt to various content formats including direct-print chipboard and vinyl panels.

Spatial Adaptation is key, the modular structures were designed to respect and enhance the historic architecture of the old cellar and wine-tasting rooms. Custom-designed furniture for olfactive testing (test tubes), tactile elements (vine branches), and acoustic stations.

From the initial conceptual sketches to the final on-site coordination, this intervention demonstrates the power of modular design in heritage sites. A project where precision engineering meets traditional storytelling to preserve and celebrate the legacy of Malvasia wine.
